At Big Barker we love highlighting organizations that are doing important work to help support dogs. We sat down with Veronica of The Working K9 to talk about her organization and how she has been able to help save dogs from the Meat Trade to where her love of helping dogs comes from. Our friends over at Adventure Rig just reviewed what they've since dubbed the “must-have for any travelin’ dog,” the Backseat Barker SUV Bed. In their review, Cally shared that their dog, Hank, has been slowing down after long hikes and walks as he’s gotten older. But, since using the Backseat Barker on their trips, she’s noticed an improvement in his mobility.

Jason experienced a personal loss and found purpose and love in creating a pit bull rescue. He saves pit bulls from being euthanized at shelters and nurses the sick ones back to health.

This is the heartwarming story of a rescued dog, Gracie, and the veterinarian, Dr. Andy Mathis, that nurtured her back to health. Found in the street, Gracie was so scared of people and the world in general, she would not even eat food at first.
