There are many factors to consider when purchasing a bed for your dog, including the size. The bigger they are--the more space you need! You should also think about whether or not he likes sharing his spot with other dogs (if any). And lastly—you want something comfortable too; otherwise why would he spend all this time sleeping?
Let's jump in to some points that a Great Dane mama talked about when deciding what size bed to use for her Great Danes:
The Big Barker dog beds come in 3 sizes for large dogs.
- Size Large: more suitable to larger breeds, but still much bigger than other bedding options out there! This size may be ideal if you have a Golden Retriever or Pitbull as well; it's just the right amount of space they need when going off-leash at home during playtime without worrying about hurting themselves on something small like furniture legs (which can happen).
- XL: suitable for dogs like Rottweilers or Doberman Pinschers
