It’s St. Patrick’s Day! Everyone is wearing green and the cabbage is boiling. Perhaps you even have a few recipes to turn that beer green and get in a real festive mood.

In the midst of it, you might have one burning question on your mind: How much of this St. Patty’s day food can I safely share with my best friend?

Well, we’re here to help you out…and as we do so, we tell you right off the bat: not much.

Some of the traditional food cooked and eaten on this day is fine and healthy for your dog to eat (we say that knowing, at the end of the day, that as always you are the one who knows your dog best…so please follow his dietary needs). What might that be? Well, the boiled cabbage in a very limited quality seems to be ok.

What else? Well, definitely not the beer…that’s a big no no. Another definite no would be the bacon and corned beef. These will upset your dog’s stomach.

If you want to learn more details about what you can and can’t give your dog today, take a look at today’s article.
