  • 1/4 lb lean ground turkey (use 99% lean)
  • Water (enough to fill the pot, reserve 1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 cup 100% pumpkin puree
  • 1 tbsp plain unflavored gelatin powder

Directions:

Follow these simple steps to create these delicious treats:

  1. Put the ground turkey into a pot and fill it with water (enough to cover). Cook on medium/high heat for about 10-15 minutes.
  2. Transfer the cooked turkey, along with 1/2 cup warm water from the pot, and 1/4 cup of pure pumpkin puree into a blender. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir plain, unflavored gelatin powder into the mixture with a spoon, ensuring even incorporation.
  4. Place two silicon molds onto a baking sheet for support and spoon the mixture into each mold, filling to the top.
  5. Move to the refrigerator for 2 hours or until fully set.
  6. Remove the treats from the mold.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
