What are little boys made of? Yes, the above and a whole lot of magic as well. Apparently this has been proven recently in a new study that says adults elicit the same type of feelings of warmth and response when they pet a dog and also when they see their children. Response centers in the brain were monitored and results tracked, showing biochemical patterns of brain wave patterns in test subjects.
Researchers believe this is why therapy dogs are so successful in hospital and outpatient programs.
They could have just skipped all the research and I could have told them it’s simply the magic of puppy dog tails wagging in the air!
