A wonderful story today about a man and his dog, lost for 8 years, who have finally been reunited. Mike Nuanes lost his young puppy 8 years ago, the victim of a suspected robbery. Now, finally after years of being lost, the dog was found in not the best condition by a shelter. They checked the young puppy for a microchip, and sure enough it had one.
After contacting the shocked man, dog (no longer a pup) and master have finally been reunited. What a great ending to a jaw dropping story. Goes to show you why we should all microchip our dogs.
