The Tallest Dog in the World
Meet Reginald “Reggie” Johnson Reiss, a 7-year-old Great Dane who just might have the biggest heart to match his world-record size. Guinness World Records officially recognized Reggie as the tallest dog in the world in May 2025. He’s been standing at an incredible 3 feet 3 inches tall since he was about a year and a half old. His family made his title official last September after submitting all the necessary documentation.
Despite his height and newfound fame, Reggie is still just a sweet, playful pup at heart. His personality is loving, gentle, and full of joy. He still acts almost exactly like he did when he was a puppy, always eager for cuddles and attention.
Most people are shocked to learn that he’s seven years old. Especially when they see how active, healthy, and energetic he is. Reggie’s favorite thing in the world is to lay on a comfy bed with one of his favorite treats, either a bone or a chew stick, happily gnawing away while being close to the people he loves.
