Our orthopedic crate pads are not designed to extend all the way to the wall of the crate. They are sized to fit inside the plastic tray at the bottom of your crate. 1” of space should be between your crate pad and the wall.

This Crate bed is the second bed purchase I have made from Big Barker. Jaime helped me with an additional cover. He's awesome. He answered all my questions and met my needs. I wanted a sturdy bed while we crate train our new puppy that we just adopted. I purchased a giant bed with an additional cover over a year ago for my two Irish Wolfhounds each 160 pounds. It is still in excellent condition (almost looks brand new). The covers hold up great in the wash and are durable yet comfortable. We're moving at the end of this month and I plan on purchasing at lease one if not two more beds so we don't need to move them upstairs and downstairs and outside but leave them them permanently in those spaces. My dogs love them, yours will too! They are high quality orthopedic beds worth every penny!

Dogs have been a part of our family for over 40 years and we have bought countless types of bedding for our pets. We have always crate trained our dogs, which have included, Labrador Retrievers, a German Shepard / Lab mix, and Boxers. The Big Barker 4" crate pads now being enjoyed by a 1 yr old Yellow Lab and 6 month old Boxer are FAR superior to any previous pads. Overall quality, construction, durability and comfort is quite obvious but most importantly, both dogs love to be in their crate. We find them going into the crates on their own on a regular basis. I can't say enough good things about Big Barker products or the company itself. Our German Shepherd Is 11 years old and has starting signs of hip problems and arthritis. We ordered the large big barker for her and it arrived quickly. While she fit on the bed, we felt like the extra large size would work better. The customer service at Big Barker was great and the exchange of the bed was handled with ease. As for the bed- Roxy loves it. It took a couple of weeks for her to warm up to it, but now seems quite comfortable.
