In Honor of Those Who Protect Us

A lovely story comes to us today of a shelter that helped save an active soldier’s dog. When Henry Alvarado was about to deploy for a fourth time on active duty, his dog was unfortunately hit by a car and severely injured. Without money to pay for life saving surgery, the soldier was looking at losing his best friend. That’s when two groups, Rescue from the Hart and Animal Protectorates, stepped in and helped pay the costs and save his dog.

What a heart warming story and great way to say thank you to one who has served this country.
