Came across a blog entry today on the top cruelty free cleaning products. I thought this was great…not only do we have a review on some effective products, but it is done so with our favorite barkers in mind.
Everybody knows, though it is seldom talked about, that laboratories often use animals to test their products on. This is cruel and inhumane. Of course there are always going to be arguments on the other side of this as well. But we will not entertain such here. Let’s just simply focus on something wonderful:
There are products out there…make-up, household cleaning products, etc. which are verified as “cruelty free.” What this means is that there were absolutely no animals used in the testing of those products.
I think this is wonderful, and supporting such products is important for us because we love our dogs. Again, I know that there are two sides to this argument, and I’m not really entering into it one way or the other.
I’m simply saying that there are alternatives in your own personal life as to what you buy and use in your home. You can certainly buy products which you know without a doubt have never been used on an animal.
