Big Barker's COVID-19 Mask Program

We’re not a huge company. We don’t have millions of dollars. But, what we DO have is a passionate team that wants to help out wherever possible. So, to do our part in this crisis, some members of our sewing team have stopped sewing dog bed covers and are now dedicated to spending 100% of their time sewing masks for people that need them.

Our goal is to sew 2,500 masks during this pandemic and focus on donating these masks to frontline workers in Pennsylvania (where Big Barker is based).

If you have a Big Barker mask, here’s what you need to know:

• Your mask is made with two layers of heavy-duty Quilter’s Cotton. We chose this material based on the recent study published in the New York Times.

• Your mask is reusable and machine washable. A standard washing machine should suffice in properly cleaning a face-covering mask as per CDC guidelines.
  

We are so grateful to the people on the frontlines working to make sure we have access to food, medical care and other essential services. Wearing a mask is just one way we can thank them. Watch the video below to see how effective a face mask can be when it comes to protecting those around us.
