The most accurate way of choosing the perfect size bed for your dog is to take a quick measurement. Using any old tape measure, write down your dog's length from head to hips, and also get your dog's height from paw to shoulder.
This is your dog's maximum size at a full stretch. Most dog's don't sleep in a full stretch position, but you want a bed that is big enough at maximum size. Make sure you choose a bed that is at least as long as the head to butt measurement and at least as wide as the paw to shoulder distance.
The weight of your dog does not matter. All sizes of Big Barker dog beds can easily handle up to 300 lbs of bodyweight.
Large: 48" long X 30" wide X 7" thick
Extra Large: 52" long X 36" wide X 7" thick
Giant: 60" long X 48" wide X 7" thick
Take measurements for 100% accuracy, but in most cases, the following guidelines should help you pick the right size bed.
Large: Labrador, Golden Retriever, Boxer, English Setter, American Bulldog
Extra Large: Anything bigger than a lab, but smaller than a Great Dane. Doberman, German Shepherd, Akita, Newfoundland, Mastiff
Giant: Great Dane, Irish Wolfhound. Or if you have two dogs that like to sleep on the same bed together.
Remember that if you change your mind on the size after ordering, or if your dog just won't sleep on the bed for whatever reason, you can always ship it back to us for an exchange or refund.
