Hip Dysplasia: Case Study #104
Joint health is very important for all dogs, but big dogs in particular can suffer from greater pain like hip dysplasia due to their large size. This happened to be the case for Dream. Dream was about six years old when he was saved from a pretty bad situation. Dream’s mom, Annie, noticed that Dream had a bit of a goofy walk. But then, one day, Dream jumped off their bed and she noticed that he was limping significantly. After some x-rays, Annie realized that Dream’s hips were horrendous and there was almost no hip socket. After getting a Big Barker bed, Annie immediately noticed a difference in his energy levels. Dream started playing more, going on longer walks, and stopped sleeping throughout the day. Just watch to see how Dream is doing.
